1. Spotify – The first tool I would like to introduce you to is spotify. Spotify is a music and podcast app and website. I love Spotify because I have a hard time focusing without some kind of background noise. While youtube has some sort of the same concept Spotify is better for when you’re at school because it is less distracting since it’s not meant for streaming videos. It’s also nice because they have music from all over the world and make it easy to find it. All you have to do is type in the place you’re looking for and the hits of that place will pop up. These are the reasons I enjoy using Spotify to keep me focused at school.
2. https://magictask.io/ – The second tool I like to use is Magic Task. This is a website that is a lot like an online To-Do list. The fun part about Magic task is that it makes your To-Do into events that get you points. Based on how long each task takes you, you can change how big it is with sizes S, M, L, and LX. I find this website super helpful because I always wanted an app like this to help me stay motivated when I’m feeling burned out.
3. Timers – The last tool I would like to tell you about is the timer app. I use the timer app on my phone a lot because trying to finish assignments before the timer rings helps me feel super motivated. It also helps me be on time for all my live classes by setting timers for 5 minutes before each one. I would recommend using an app instead of a website because websites can be a bit tricky at times with either not working or being too quiet to notice they are going off.
