How to Be Organized in Online School

By Ashlee Dodd

Hello, and welcome to a written down guide on how to handle organization better for anyone’s schedule during online courses with ASUPD.

Firstly, and I know any one of us are sometimes extremely tired of this happening, is getting overwhelmed by tons of assignments in a specific module you’ll have to complete before an early or late deadline, but don’t worry. I’ll be able to pace you through on what to do to avoid certain situations like having late turn ins, getting massive burn-out, etc.

So, one thing to note is that your own device has a variety of tools that can help your schedules such as Google Drive, which is a tool that can help with creating digital folders and organizing what assignments can be ordered into which. And a usual common method would be to write down a time schedule that works for you and split each assignment to complete for each day after any meetings.

  • Step 1: Write down at least two to three assignments you’ll focus on completing for each day of the following or current week.
  • Step 2: Mark down any deadlines or dates that certain assignments are due so that you’ll be able to determine how much time you have to complete each assignment before then.
  • Step 3: Some highlighted tools for this certain action would be programs such as Notes for to-do lists, Google Drive for organizing what classes get in what folder, and any binders, notebooks, etc.

Sorting these things can be common but there’s always good solutions on handling these things better so that way you’ll be able to get more organized and enough time for yourself to be a teenager basically, so it’s highly recommended that if there is any students with these issues, it’s best for you to follow this method guide!
