This year will be an amazing year filled with learning and growing. Here is a list of supplies we will need for a successful year. All of these items will be readily available at stores in your area that sells school supplies or on Amazon.com.

Novel Studies: Hate that Cat and Because of Winn Dixie

Throughout this year, we will be reading novels as a class. These books may be purchased or checked out for 4 weeks from your local library. Titles will be sent out as they as it gets closer the unit it pertains to.

Optional Novel – Love That Dog (you can read before Hate that Cat)

Please take time to review the following books. We take pride in paying attention to age-appropriate content, language clarity, and the portrayal of diverse characters, while empowering you to make informed choices for your child’s reading journey. If you have any questions or want to discuss further please reach out to your child’s teacher.
