Add In-Person Learning to Your Digital School Day

We have two great opportunities for ASU Prep Digital students to connect and collaborate with peers on an ASU campus. Both offer project-based learning in a small group setting along with the chance to learn from ASU faculty and explore degree programs and careers. Explore the options below.

Schedule
2 days per week in-person at an ASU college campus

Program Structure
Year-long school program; 4 year high school program
Semester-long Honors Elective course (0.5 credits)
Student Cohort
1-2 Cohorts of 30 students at each location for four years
New cohort of 20 students are chosen each semester

First come, first serve
Application based on GPA etc.
Location
3 Locations: ASU West, ASU Tempe, ASU Media, and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center in Mesa
ASU Campus rotates each semester
University Integration
ASU Faculty provide the opportunity for in-depth exploration in specific content courses, majors and career paths
Students gain exposure to a variety of topic areas with different ASU colleges
Program Enhancement
ASU Prep Digital coursework is enhanced with in-person collaboration, discussion, and project-based learning in small-groups
Students connect and collaborate with ASU faculty to explore degree paths and career options
Academic Support
In addition to the ASU Prep Digital support systems, students receive individualized core-content assistance from a Personalized Learning Advisor
Students receive support through ASU Prep Digital systems (Learning Success Coaches, live lesson, discussion-based assessment, etc.)
Concurrent Enrollment
Students have the opportunity to take ASU courses and earn concurrent credit toward a degree pathway
Optional access to university courses and credit based on location and program

Goal Setting and Community Building

9:00-9:30 (sample times, subject to change)

Students begin the day by setting individual and collaborative goals for the week. They engage in community-building activities, are active participants in developing class norms and have agency through student roles.

9:30-12:00 (sample times, subject to change)

Students have dedicated time to work on current projects, meet in small groups with teams and/or coaches, participate in live lessons, and engage in core content enhancement activities.

Students have the opportunity to eat on campus with their classmates, socialize, and take time to recharge.
