Hina Adkins is leaping from the stage at the Ballet Theatre of Phoenix and into the academic halls of Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Originally from Okinawa, Japan, Hina thrived over the past three years at ASU Prep Digital, where the program’s flexibility allowed her to successfully balance her ballet trainee commitments while attending school.
Her experiences at ASU Prep, including exposure to ASU campuses and faculty, solidified her decision to pursue a Bachelor of Global Management at ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, supported by scholarships and grants.
With a passion for leadership and cultural exchange, Hina is excited to challenge herself and eager to network and embrace new perspectives. As a Barrett, The Honors College student, she looks forward to the unique opportunities and resources available to her.
Hina hopes to bring to the ASU community her values of honesty, appreciation, and respect, along with the practice of expressing gratitude for even the smallest things—all values revered in her Japanese culture.
Hina embraces her Japanese cultural values of honesty, appreciation, and respect, and she hopes to share these with the ASU community, along with the practice of expressing gratitude for even the smallest things.
